COLLEEN D. MARKEY HIRED AS PROPERTY MANAGER OF THE VILLAGE OF RIVERMOOR, A HORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT MANAGED COMMUNITY

(Manheim Township) Lancaster, PA (July 16, 2000) With one year of real estate sales and management experience, Colleen D. Markey of Middletown has been promoted by Horst Property Management to the role of property manager of The Village of Rivermoor, a residential community located in Marietta, offering 130 apartments and townhomes. The Village of Rivermoor is one of seven communities managed by HPM, a portfolio of 2,253 apartments and townhomes throughout Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Hershey and Reading.

In her role as property manager at the Village of Rivermoor, Markey will work to achieve outstanding customer service, provide rental assistance, approve leases, control expenditures, supervise inspections and prepare budgets and operation reports. Her strong, experienced customer service and organizational skills will help her to accomplish her goals for the community.

Markey, who served for a year as assistant manager at The Village of Pineford in Middletown, another HPM managed community, previously worked for HERCO, Hershey's Chocolate Town Café as assistant restaurant manager.

Markey is a graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in speech communications and is currently working toward obtaining her Pennsylvania Real Estate License.
