DONNA E. BOWERS PROMOTED TO OPERATIONS MANAGER OF THE HORST GROUP'S HORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT JANITORIAL DEPARTMENT

(Manheim Township) Lancaster, PA (January 16, 2001)  Nine years of providing training and supervision in the cleaning services field has prepared Donna E. Bowers of Elizabethtown for her latest role as operations manager of the expanding janitorial department (formerly called Property Services) of Horst Property Management.

Bowers joined the Horst Group in 1998 as a Service Coordinator, and was promoted to operations coordinator in April 1999, then to operations supervisor in December 2000. Bowers was named the Exceptional Employee in June 2000 by Horst Group senior management for her commitment to exemplary customer service.

Calling on her Horst Group experience and that from managerial roles at Conestoga Valley School District and Cardinal Technologies, Bowers will oversee round-the-clock operations, ensuring quality in all services. As operations manager, she is excited to offer enhanced programs to existing customers and to build new relationships with area business people in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Lebanon, Hershey and Reading. Bowers is also responsible for managing all employee recruiting, training, development and scheduling, all with a keen focus on exceeding customers’ expectations.

She holds a BS in Secondary Education-Social Studies from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
