Horst Property Management Janitorial Announces New Operations Manager, Pak Man L. Chan (July 1, 2002) (Manheim Township) Lancaster, PA Horst Property Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Pak Man L. Chan to role of operations manager of the company’s janitorial and facilities services operations. As Operations Manager, Chan will call on his 14 years of facilities management experience, overseeing the operations and performance of the Janitorial and Facilities team, ensuring high quality services to clients. He will also develop budgets and control expenditures to meet fiscal goals. Chan shares that his goals are “to provide superior customer service while increasing service to existing and new customers” through his new role. Carolyn Bauer, vice president of Horst’s janitorial business and Chan’s manager, shares, “Pak has jumped right in, taking the time to get to know our customers and employees, the most important element to managing facilities well.” Chan was employed with Balanced Care Corporation in Mechanicsburg since 1998 as Plant Operations Director, managing plant operations and preventative maintenance programs for their corporate building assets. Prior to that, he worked for the American Music Theatre and Blue Ribbon Home Inspection Services. Chan is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He is married, has a son and daughter, and resides in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster. His interests include photography, chess, volleyball, fishing and traveling.
