CAROL J. ACKERMAN HIRED AS ASSOCIATION MANAGER FOR THE HORST GROUP'S HORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT BUSINESS

(Manheim Township) Lancaster, PA (July 28, 2000) Carol J. Ackerman of Lancaster has been named association manager for Horst Property Management's (HPM) association management business. With 25 years experience in real estate, development, construction and project management, Ackerman will manage all day-to-day fiscal responsibilities of the condominium and homeowner associations, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring great customer service for maintenance and repairs of the properties. Ackerman most recently worked for the Drogaris Companies in Lancaster as a project coordinator responsible for coordinating the development of a large office building and historical renovation. Before that, Ackerman worked for GMH Development in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Ackerman attended the Lawrence Institute of Technology and Oakland Community College in Michigan. She is a member of the Commercial and Industrial Realtors Council and serves on the board of directors for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is married, with two grown children and 2 grandchildren.
