(Manheim Township) Lancaster, PA (December 21, 2000) The Horst Group was named the 16th Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania at the Annual Human Resource Conference hosted in December 2000 by the Pennsylvania Chamber. The “Best Places to Work in PA” award identified the 100 best places of employment based on data submitted by each company. Information submitted by employees directly to the surveyors (from a program organized by the Central Penn Business Journal, Kuntz Lesher LLP, the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, among others) was given a weight of 75 percent toward the total score. The program was developed to provide definitive information to help participating companies retain their workforce, to promote PA’s best employment opportunities to attract new employees and to distinguish employers in the Commonwealth who have been successful in doing so.
