Food Service Director,

Company: Columbia Cottage

Location: - Wyomissing, PA

Duties:

Duties – Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Organizes food service functions and ensures the quality of food served.
• Supervises food service staff and provides training.
• Ensures the proper storage of food and other supplies.
• Ensures the proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment in the food service department and completes the proper maintenance and housekeeping requisitions for this service.
• Assists in the food service production to ensure proper techniques and procedures are being observed.
• Works well with others and demonstrates effective communication skills with staff and residents.

Skills:

Skills – Must have the ability to do the following:
• Must demonstrate proper body mechanics when required to lift.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations and follow oral and written directions.
• Must be available to work 12 hours shifts; Full Time, 40 hours/week; Every Other Weekend
